Yesenia Reinoso is an award-winning ten-year transformative bilingual storyteller and content creator. She is currently the Digital Marketing and Media Relations Officer at Y Communicate.
Yesenia’s journey transcends both for-profit and nonprofit sectors gaining expertise in internal, external, corporate, strategic, and crisis communications, social media, digital marketing, events, and business development.
In November 2007, Yesenia began at the Times Square Alliance as a member of the communications team. During her tenure, she was a part of the company all-staff team for one of the world’s most iconic events: New Year’s Eve Ball Drop. Later, she worked at the Social Services of Hip Hop and National CineMedia (NCM) being instrumental in brainstorming and executing various public relations initiatives.
In August 2018, she became the Communications Manager of Global Kids playing a critical role in the internal and external media rollout of the company brand and programs.
Recently, Yesenia resumed her independent consulting career which led to the launch of Y Communicate – offering expertise to nonprofit organizations such as I Challenge Myself (ICM), The City Tutors, Hip Hop Union, and Project Petals to further promote their missions and objectives.
A Pace University graduate in 2010 with a BA in Communications. Yesenia is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and New York Women in Communications (WICI). As of January 2021, Yesenia will serve the PRSA-NY’s Board of Directors as the Associate Director of Marketing and PRSA National’s Public Affairs and Government section Social Media Manager. She also serves NY WICI’s student affairs and high school outreach committee.
Yesenia also is a conference speaker and lecturer conversing with professionals and college students through in-person lectures and panels about the communications industry.
In September 2020, Yesenia won the PRSA-NY’s prestigious 15 Under 35 award honoring 15 rising PR stars for their outstanding efforts, leadership, and influence in the media industry.
